The Behavior Technician or Therapist will work one-on-one with clients in homes, schools, or community. They will provide high-quality ABA
Therapy to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum
Disorder (ASD) and other related disorders. They will use software for service delivery, data collection and work closely with Program Supervisors, Client Service Coordinators and BCBA's to positively effect change in behavior.
Education/Experience:
Minimum requirement is higher school diploma/GED, preferred AA in Psychology, Education/Special Education, Sociology, Early Childhood Development, Social Work, Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), and other humanity related field. We will provide training if no experience.
Current enrollment in a BA program in one of the above areas is a plus. Registered Behavior Technician Certification is a plus.
Two years of professional experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder and/or related disorders is a plus.
Familiar with interventions based on the science of Applied Behavior
Analysis (ABA) is a plus
Ability to pass background/fingerprint clearance
Skills
Motivated, professional, creative, positive, reliable, and caring
individual with effective communication skills (oral and written), and
the ability to provide feedback in a constructive manner. Relate well with clients and their families.
Reliable transportation, evidence of valid California Drivers License,
and proper auto insurance.
Valid CPR and First Aid Certification (Expert ABA Consulting will
cover the cost of Certification if not currently certified).
Must be willing to travel to assigned work sites (20-30 minutes from home).
