Social Media and Marketing Intern

Internship Overview

  • Program Duration: 12 weeks (Summer)
  • Time Commitment: 4-6 hours per week
  • Internship Type: Unpaid, Part-Time
  • Location: On-site, 775 Trademark Circle Suite 101 Corona, CA 92879

Objectives:

  • Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies.
  • Increase awareness of the nonprofit’s services and community impact.
  • Support the creation of promotional materials.

Responsibilities:

  • Week 1: Orientation and Training
    • Introduction to the organization, mission, and services.
    • Training on marketing tools and software.
    • Overview of current social media platforms, guidelines, marketing strategies, and campaigns.
  • Week 2-6: Content Creation
    • Develop content for newsletters, brochures, and flyers.
    • Assist in creating social media posts and website content.
    • Design graphics and visuals for marketing materials.
    • Create and schedule posts for various social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn).
    • Develop multimedia content (videos, graphics, photos).
    • Engage with followers and respond to comments/messages.
  • Week 7-10: Campaign Development
    • Support the planning and execution of marketing and social media campaigns.
    • Conduct market research to identify target audiences and opportunities.
    • Assist in drafting email marketing campaigns.Create and schedule posts for various social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn).
    • Develop multimedia content (videos, graphics, photos).
    • Engage with followers and respond to comments/messages.
  • Week 10-12: Analytics and Reporting
    • Monitor and analyze the performance of marketing campaigns.
    • Prepare reports on marketing activities and outcomes.
    • Suggest improvements based on data analysis.
